I recently read an article on black-hat search engine optimization (SEO) tactics performed by JC Penny in the New York Times and I’m honestly surprised that such basic link building of this nature worked after Google introduced Google Caffeine on June 8th, 2010. New Wave Web and Marketing, which only uses white-hat strategies, has not found that basic link-building tacts does provide long term solutions for SEO. Instead New Wave Web and Marketing has found that fresh content is one of many keys to white-hat tactics for the Google algorithm.
With that being said, clients need to understand gaining high organic rankings don’t happen overnight, when done correctly. We ask our prospective clients to be intelligent when searching for an internet marketing firm and asking for SEO. That way, they will not end up like JC Penny.
